General planning information

  • Determination of the space requirements and of the appropriate installation site
  • Provision of electrical feed to the device
  • Provision of a condensate line from the device to the sewer

Notes relating to the installation site

  • Basically, the device should be installed in the Zone 2 (acc. to the standard VDE 0100-702), i.e. at a distance of > 2 m from the pool edge.
  • In so-called "small swimming pools" where the room dimensions do not exceed the Zone 1, the device can also be installed in this Zone 1.
However, the distance to the pool should be > 1.25 m.
  • The distance to the showers and sinks should also be > 1.25 m.
