Equipment list

Housing
Basic housing made of sheet steel, corrosion-resistant powder-coated. Front lid and cover made of plastic. Height-adjustable and sound-absorbing rubber feet for the vibration damping.
Fan
Axial fan with sickle-shaped blades, energy-saving, steplessly regulated EC motor, particularly low-noise, including a contact protection grille.
Heat pump unit
with safety refrigerant type R32, consisting of:
A fully hermetic, inverter-controlled compressor, vibration-damped bearings, air cooler (evaporator) made of copper pipe equipped with pressed-on aluminium fins, pool water counterflow heat exchanger made of titanium, electronic expansion valve, low pressure switch, high pressure switch, dryer unit, refrigerant collector, flow monitor, refrigeration piping made of copper pipe, including an insulation. Automatic defrosting by means of a hot gas reversing system for outside temperatures below 7°C up to -5°C, reversible with cooling function.
Control and control cabinet
with all assemblies for all control and monitoring tasks being required for the operation of the device, consisting of:
Microprocessor board control with digital and analogue inputs and outputs, relay outputs, including temperature sensors for the measurement of inlet and outlet water temperature, evaporation and ambient temperature, built into the device and hardwired. Modbus interface to allow the communication with the integrated inverter board in order to permit the speed control of the compressor. Second modbus interface for the touch control panel inside the front cover equipped with a weatherproof cover door made of Plexiglas. Control box, wired ready for connection according to the standard VDE with all required load components, terminal blocks, fuses, etc.

Notes relating to the installation site

The device is designed for the outdoor installation. In order to ensure a sufficient flow through the heat exchanger, certain minimum distances must be complied with in front of the air inlet and outlet. In addition, the inspection opening must be easily accessible. This is the reason why the specified dimensions should be complied with. The installation surface must be secured accordingly, for example by laying concrete slabs. Any unevenness may be levelled out by using the height-adjustable feet included in the scope of supply. Furthermore, care should be taken that the air discharge direction is not directed directly against the natural wind direction.
In case of the installation of the unit in a closed room, a sufficient supply and exhaust air must be provided because otherwise the evaporator will freeze up or the heat pump's output will decrease.
