In addition to a counterflow recuperator, the units of the WRPG series also contain a heat pump with stepless inverter technology, whereby the compressor is reduced to the minimum possible speed as required. This aspect significantly increases the efficiency in the partial load range.
In contrast to conventional heat pump devices, the dehumidification process takes place primarily in the outdoor air mode instead of being carried out in the course of the recirculation mode. In addition to the improved indoor air quality, this aspect also prevents the corrosion of metal components (railings, etc.).
The units can optionally be equipped with a heat exchanger for the pool water. In this way, the recovered energy can either be transferred to the pool water and/or the air in the swimming pool as required.
The redundancy of the fans and other components permits to minimise the probability of a failure.
All essential interfaces and technologies are available to permit a connection to the building management system. (EIB /KNX, Modbus, BACnet, OPC, etc. and VPN)
